Brett Dellar

Leadership & Human Performance Specialist | Speaker | Author

TEDx Speaker. Former Police Detective. Siege survivor. Cancer survivor whose business didn't miss a beat.

Brett works with individuals, leaders and organisations — helping them strengthen how they think, act, and lead when pressure hits and life gets hard.

He doesn't just understand pressure professionally. He's lived it. Survived it. And built a system that holds under it.

The Difference Brett Brings

This isn't theory. It's lived.

A lot of leadership programs are built in calm environments. Then expected to work when pressure hits...and often, they don't.

Brett's frameworks were built differently…Forged through real pressure, real consequence, and real life.

That's what makes the difference.

Built for individuals and organisations who need more than a good speaker.
They need someone who's actually been tested.

This work didn't start as a career.

It started as survival.

Everything you see today started with a man in pain.

I was struggling.

For 44 years, I carried childhood trauma.
For 30 years that showed up as depression.

I was high-functioning.
A successful chiropractor.
Helping people every day.
I'd spent years as a police officer and detective.
I'd been inside a siege for five hours.
I knew what real pressure felt like.
And still…I couldn't face what was happening inside me.

Every night I was exhausted.
Not from the work, but from
pretending I was OK.
And no one knew.

I wore what I now call the ManMask.
Strong. Capable. Fine.
But inside, I felt like a fraud. A boy in a man's body. Completely lost.

If this feels familiar…don't ignore it.

Most people don't talk about what they're carrying.

But that doesn't mean it's not affecting everything.

What you don't face…doesn't disappear.

Then I stopped running.

The trauma.

The truth.

The story I'd avoided for decades.

That's when everything changed.

For the first time in my life, I stopped pretending.

And I broke.

Because in that breaking, I finally found something real.

My trauma was not who I was.
It was something that happened to me.

And for the first time…I felt real love for myself.

When the story loosened its grip… there was space.

And in that space was a question.

If I'm not the traumatised one… who am I?

For 18 months I went all in.

Workshops. Programs. Books. Coaches. Hard conversations.

Layer by layer, things started to fall away.

The shame.

The weight.

The story I'd been carrying for decades.

And underneath all of that…

I found me.

Happy.

Loving.

Authentic.

Strong.

Happy.

Loving.

Authentic.

Strong.

Eight years ago, I could not have said those words.

Today, I can…and I live it!

That journey changed everything.

And it left me with one truth.

No one should carry their pain longer than they have to.

I did. For far too long.

There are answers. There are tools. There is another way.

And it starts with the courage to face what's been buried.

What that journey taught me about leadership.

When you've lived under that kind of internal pressure for decades, you start to see it everywhere.

In organisations.
In leadership teams.

In the gap between how people present themselves and how they're actually doing.

What I learned is this…

Pressure doesn't just affect individuals.
It affects everyone they lead.

When pressure rises, behaviour changes.
People don't rise to what they've learned.

They fall back to what's been previously internally wired.

And in organisations, that's where everything starts to break.

Leaders become reactive.
Accountability drops.
Culture weakens.
Performance suffers.

This is the gap most leadership programs miss.

It's exactly what my work addresses.

The WORK!

This is where everything comes together.

Three programs…one purpose. Strengthening how people think, act, and lead…under pressure.

Elevatum™

For organisations ready to strengthen leadership, resilience and culture under pressure.

moMENtum™

For men ready to face what's been buried and move forward.

WOMENtum™

For women ready to reconnect, rebuild and step forward.

THIS WORK IS NOT BUILT FROM THEORY.

It is built from lived experience.

Childhood trauma.

A life-threatening incident as a police officer.

Heartbreak.

Cancer.

None of it defined me.

But all of it shaped me.

Then came the real test.

In early 2025, I was diagnosed with cancer.

For six months I stepped away from everything.

First part-time.
Then completely.
No clinic.
No leading from the front.
No being the one everything runs through.

I didn't know what I'd come back to.

What I found was a business that hadn't missed a beat.

The team made decisions.
Held standards.
Kept the culture intact.

Without me.

That wasn't luck.

That was 18 years of building the right people, the right culture, and the right leadership system.

And it was the most honest proof I've ever had that this work is real.

Pressure doesn't create your culture. It reveals it.

Real change begins when you stop avoiding the truth.

What people struggle with most…is what they avoid.

Stress.

Others expectations.

Pressure.

Unresolved emotional weight.

When those things are faced…

Everything changes.

Kim leads WOMENtum with lived experience and real understanding.

As a life coach, Kim understands the pressures women carry…across family, career, relationships, and life.

She creates a space where women can be honest with themselves, reconnect with what matters, rebuild their strength, and move forward.

Not with judgement. Not with pressure.

With honesty, warmth, and genuine support.

Because most women are carrying more than they show.

And most have been doing it alone for far too long.

The flame inside you never left.

It was waiting for the moment you face what’s been buried.

“Today’s Courage Shapes Your Tomorrow!”

When life gets hard & pressure hits…everything is revealed. Your response changes everything.
